I'm Frederik — multi-instrumentalist, producer and recording/mixing engineer, playing professionally since 2012.

I started on classical piano as a kid, lost interest, and picked up guitar instead to learn songs on my own terms. That self-taught streak has shaped how I work ever since.

Over the years I've performed with Tourist Lemc, Wally, Wahwahsda, Chackie Jam, The Bobby James Family, N8N and others, playing major stages including Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Dour, and supporting acts like Robbie Williams, Simply Red, Groundation, Steel Pulse and Oscar and the Wolf.

Alongside performing, I started producing and co-writing with other artists, developing a strong ear for harmony and groove, and a focus on the connection between artist and audience.

When live shows stopped during covid, I used the time to go all in on something I'd wanted to pursue for a while: recording and mixing. Today I run Electric Shaolin, my own studio in Mortsel, together with Wally.
In this place I bring everything I've learned on stage and in the writing room into the recording and mixing process, with the work ethic to get a polished, honest result out of every artist I work with.
